Open Letter from the CEO

We all make mistakes. No one is perfect. I don’t believe that the vast majority of people who screw up do it out of malice, but they make mistakes because they are human. I believe that making mistakes and learning from them is a human experience that makes our existence worth living.

However, I don’t believe that mistakes should be defining moments of someone’s life.

I’ve noticed the following in the content creation, specifically, the virtual entertainment industry.

  • Virtual content creators affiliated with a company had to “toe the company line” or risk losing their livelihood because they don’t own the IP rights. As a result, they are carefully molded, unable to speak freely, and have to avoid making honest, human mistakes.

  • But some content creators had a significant incentive to join a talent agency due to the perceived lack of necessary business acumen and resources.

In response to these observations, lucid Multimedia, formerly known as 4V LIVE, was born. The original intent was to compel a discussion on how we treat our content creators and potentially change the industry norm.

lucid Multimedia’s mission is to democratize the business of the entertainment industry for content creators. We believe that artists affiliated with a company should have the right to radical freedom of speech and access to ethical business support.

I am not an accomplished artist. I can’t play music well, nor write a beautiful poem. Sometimes, I have trouble reading my own handwriting.

However, I appreciate art.

I love reading books and how written language can shape the world.

I love creating memories with those I love by dancing to music at a wedding, the joy of reminiscing that beautiful moment when I hear the song again.
I love reading books and how written language can shape the world. The human spirit never ceases to amaze me because we live in a timeline where some mathematician wrote a book hundreds of years ago about advanced calculus, making it possible for someone to launch a Tesla into space for one of the oddest (or coolest) flex in history.

The only way to share the joy of art is to provide a platform for artists to entertain, educate, and inspire through unrestricted artistic expression.

Join us in this journey and ask you to support our Virsonas. They are all extremely hard-working, talented individuals who have something to share with the world.

Sincerely,
X.H., CEO of 4v Company
